What a great Mother's Day. Teddy and Ray let me sleep in (until 8) and then woke me up with flowers and a card. After some prompting from Ray to say, "Happy Mother's Day, Mama!", Teddy instead said, "Happy Birthday to you Mama!" He knew it was some sort of special occassion... Then we went off to a yummy breakfast at Bon Savor, and to a picnic at the Arboretum's Lilac Sunday (see post below).
Since Teddy's older, this year we decided to make all the mother's and grandmother's gifts. We had Teddy handprint some flower pots and then planted jade plants in them. Teddy was very excited about the end product, although wasn't too sure about the process. When we loaded up his hand with paint he looked at his hand and said, "Yucky!" I think they came out great!
