My golf partner, my son

I can't tell you how much I love the fact that Teddy is into golf. I can't wait to get him on real course and show him how to drive, chip and putt. - Ray

Today, Mama, Daddy, Nana and Pappa and I went to apple picking at Mack's. The Cortlands, Honey Crisps and Macs were all so huge and delicious. Next year, I'll be strong enough to carry my own bag. - Teddy

We Meet Again!

This guy is everywhere at Fenway Park!

Wally!

Finally we meet!

Teddy's first baseball game

Today we packed Teddy in a backpack and headed off to Fenway Park. We rode the train and then walked through the Fenway to meet Uncle Patrick at the Gate. We're only 10 minutes in but with all the action and clapping, Teddy's one happy fan! Go Sox!

Teddy's Alphabet

Bragging Alert: One of Teddy's new favorite things is to sing his ABCs. They tell me at daycare that he can point out most of his letters too. He isn't even two yet. Not bad, huh? Here's a little video of him singing. http://raymondusantos.blogspot.com/2009/09/teddys-alphabet.html

Our trip to Spectacle Island

Teddy, Danielle and I took our first trip to Spectacle Island out in Boston Harbor. We packed a lunch of cold chicken, macaroni, potato chips and lemonade and headed out for the ferry early in the morning. I carried Teddy in a backpack and Danielle carried our lunch all the way up to the top of the hill overlooking the island. Here are a few pictures. Enjoy. -RS

A family picture. Really!

It's amazing how many photos we take of Teddy and how few we have of the tree of us together. Here's one of us taken at a party Danielle's parents threw for Jessica and Brandon.

"No wanna drive a ducky boat!"

We took a Duck Tour in Boston last week with Danielle's parents, her sister Jessica and husband Brandon and the driver let Teddy drive the Duck boat in on the Charles River. I don't think Teddy has much of a future in sailing. He was in the driver's seat for about sixty seconds saying "no wanna drive the ducky boat." - RS

Cornbread Feet?

This morning while we were getting coats and lunches together I put Teddy in the leather chair in the living room with a corn muffin in a bowl.  He did very well with a banana muffin yesterday morning, and it allowed us some time to get stuff done.  Well, a corn muffin is much more crumbly than a banana muffin.  Can you see where he stood up to brush off the crumbs?  It was quite a mess to clean up.  Oh well.
