Teddy's Easter 2009

This weekend, Teddy fell off the side of his slide and broke his left arm. He's doing very well but has to wear a cast for the next three weeks. Despite the injury, Teddy had lot's of fun over the weekend and really enjoyed having his grandparents over, and all the cool gifts the Easter Bunny left for him.

At the table

Mum and Dad decided it was time for me to sit at the table with them. I had been telling them this for a while now, and finally they listened!

So Ion Tuesday my new chair arrived and Dad put it together right away. I love it; I can see all the cars go by on the street and can grab things off Mum and Dad's plate.

Mum says I have to learn how to eat off of a plate next. I don't know why, they make much better frisbees.

Check me out!

Where did he get that from?

So today my father, Papa as Teddy calls him, came down to visit. We had a wonderful day of playing, napping and a walk to the playground and back. Ray made a great dinner while we were out at the playground which we all ate together.

After dinner we played in the Living Room, as we usually do. Around 7:45 pm, Teddy was sitting on Papa's lap reading a book and I told him that it was almost time for "Night, Night". Usually he says, "Night, night" and goes over to the gate at the bottom of the stairs to wait for us to open it for him.

Teddy closed the book, put it on the couch and climbed off Papa's lap. He then laid down on the floor and closed his eyes. I thought to myself that he must be really tuckered out from the Playground and maybe I should have put him to bed earlier. Then I heard the sound...

Ray, my father and I all looked at each other in amazement. While lying on the floor, Teddy was making snoring noises, a loud snore in through his nose, and a sigh out through his mouth. Teddy wasn't lying on the floor because he was tired, he was trying to be funny! When he realized we were looking at him, he opened one eye and giggled.

What a ham!
