Today is Mother's Day, which is also Lilac Sunday at the Arnold Arboretum. It's the only day of the year were you can (technically) picnic, the lilacs are in full bloom, and dancers decked out in belled costumes perform. We met up with our friends, Beth, Kevin and Avelina for a picnic and some playtime. Teddy and Avelina shared food, but had a harder time with the soccer ball and sunglasses. All and all, a fun morning.
Teddy's Playground is now The Santos Sandbox, the online home of Raymond, Danielle, Teddy and Max

Cast Off
Teddy went back to Children's today (hopefully for the last time) to have his cast cut off. First we went to the Plaster Room to have the cast cut open. They left the bottom side on and wrapped it in an ace bandage and sent us off to x-ray. His arm had healed beautifully, so they let us take the other half off and sent us on our way. Teddy, unphased by his adventure with fracutred bones, immediately wanted to go to the playground to play on the slide!

A Day at the Zoo
Teddy and his friends went to the zoo this morning. We started in the petting zoo, where we saw some sheep. Teddy thought they were smelled and kept saying, "Fo fo." Then we saw some zebras, giraffes, and lions - very exciting. We finished up with a picnic lunch. Now that we're all members, we'll hopefully be doing this regularly.

Make Way for Ducklings
Today Teddy and I met up with Kiran and Tina at the Public Garden. The swan boats weren't up and running yet, so we walked around the Lagoon and fed the ducks. Then we traced the steps of the Mallard Family and visited the Make Way for Duckling statues. Teddy and Kiran both enjoyed sitting on the ducklings, who were all decked out for Easter.
